I finally figured out how to move my files over from my Steam Deck to my new PC, and moved my Skyrim Modpack over, though i wouldn’t be surprised if the cursor in the center gave it away for anyone. I decided to give it a test to make sure everything still worked after downgrading it.

I took this screenshot right outside of Solitude during the night. I think the sky is a mod, though i’m not 100% sure because i haven’t played vanilla in years. The save i’ve been playing off and on again is a Survival save, so i’ve been walking everywhere or taking a wagon. I’ve been finding it really helps me appreciate the world (even if it’s been changed by mods).

I used my time playing to make my way over to the college of winterhold to finally join after getting enough Magicka to pass the test. I initially started out in Whiterun, but after literally being attacked by a dragon upon leaving and then curb stomping the thing with the 30 Whiterun guards out front, i ended up making a trip back to my home over in Falkreath to drop it’s bones off.

While walking along, i got this lovely shot of the lakeside there

shortly after this i was attacked by a Necromancer chilling outside my house for some reason and a bear. I don’t know if they were allies, or just happened to occupy the same spot at the same time, but i ended up slaying them. If they didn’t attack me i would have been cool with them staying, but oh well.

I took the wagon at my home too the College to save some time, and got this shot outside the College:

I feel like even with the town going to shit, the least they could do is put up some wooden boards or something. The bridge feels like an OSHA violation waiting to happen.

Finally, after what felt like ages of grinding to get my Magika high enough, i went in and splashed around in the well thing will Tolfdir talked:
